Full Membership is open to licensed Physicians, Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapis ts, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and other persons licensed to practice psychotherapy. Associate membership is open to prelicensed, registered trainees and interns and psychology assistants in the mental health field. Associates must be sponsored by a licensed member. We also offer associate membership to non-clinical professionals and agencies affiliated with the mental health profession.
Opportunities to network with mental health professionals across disciplines; opportunities for continuing education close to your work and home, inexpensive, on timely topics are some of the benefits of membership. The organization provides an arena for making appropriate referrals and disseminating information to increase professional competency. The Conejo Valley area is often forgotten with the focus being on the San Fernando Valley and Ventura. Meetings are held in the Conejo Valley in a location that accommodates our busy mental health providers. These meetings allow speakers to inform the membership about numerous mental health subjects and also provide CEUs and MCEPs.
